About the Workshop:
This introductory technical workshop is designed to provide hands-on training for Core AWS services including Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), Auto Scaling, and Amazon CloudWatch. Through a mix of presentations and hands-on labs, AWS Solutions Architects will lead you through the basics of AWS.
AWS offers a comprehensive portfolio of compute services allowing you to develop, deploy, run, and scale your applications and workloads in the world’s most powerful, secure and innovative compute cloud. AWS Auto Scaling monitors your applications and automatically adjusts capacity to maintain steady, predictable performance at the lowest possible cost. Amazon CloudWatch is a monitoring and observability that provides you with data and actionable insights to monitor your applications, respond to system-wide performance changes, optimize resource utilization, and get a unified view of operational health.
There will be temporary AWS accounts provided for the hands on labs. The purpose of these temporary accounts is to ensure that all resources and permissions are set up correctly and to avoid any charges in your personal or business accounts. If you join late or are not active when the accounts are released, we will not be able to provide the temporary account.
You must be registered to be issued a temporary AWS Account. Do not join the event with someone else’s registration link. You will need to use the same email address you registered with to access your temporary AWS account.
This Immersion Day qualifies for the General Immersion Day Builder’s Quest participation badge.
